Are there any "room only" discounts for December yet. I have AAA but just wondering if I can it cheaper with a code

Not that I know of, unless you are a FL resident or have an AP. I am in the same boat. Honestly, CR is so booked during the first part of our stay, I have no idea if a code came out as to how useful it would even be for me.

At least I was able to use the FL rate to save my MIL some extra money for 6 out of our 9 nights.

There aren't even AP discounts for Dec 4-11 or after the 23rd. I believe the discounts are for FL residents as well.

I can't confirm it, but I've seen posts where people have used the discounts during the "black-out" dates.

Maybe they have, but on WDW's passholder section, these dates are not discounted. I did not try to book then since we're not interested in that time, but no discounts are listed on the calender.

Right, I saw that, too. I booked with the AP discount after those dates - but I had a little hope for the others in my Grand Gathering arriving before us to book with the GP discount since I've seen others getting it. It just seems so inconsistant to me that it's listed as blackout dates yet I see people applying discounts.

Then why not call and see if rooms are available and what the rates are. It doesn't matter what others may have received if no rooms or discounted rooms are left. There were no values at all available; I just tried.

You don't have to actually book it at the time of the call. Just get the rates/availabilty.

I have a room booked for Sept 26 at an AP rate but cannot receive another (we have 2 passes) since no rooms are available, so what others have doesn't really matter.
