If the rest of the family has meals on the DDP including drinks, What will my son that is 1.5 years old drink?
Do I have to purchase milk for him OOP or do I get it free(I doubt the later of the two)?
Do most locations have milk for CS as a drink option?
Thanks

They certainly could charge you for drinks at TS's, but my experience was that we never were charged for my under 3 son at TS locations. Something we GREATLY appreciated, but if they'd charged us we would have been fine with it. The plan is clear that anything extra will be charged, we appreciated all the servers who brought us a drink and didn't add it to the bill.
At CS locations we paid for water or milk for our under 3 year old son every time. Milk was available at all locations.
We just returned from our trip with our 1 yo grand daughter. We purchased her drinks and actually purchased her meals (which often includes the drinks). Unless your child is eating off of your plate or at a buffet, you will need to buy their meals. Our GD eats pretty much everything, but our meals were not kid friendly. Prime Rib and steak is not her cup of tea. We often got her mac and cheese or pasta and mar. sauce. She's a big eater.

Yes, I agree with this post. If we'd ordered a meal for our son, we'd have certainly paid for the meal and the drinks do come with the meal.

We went with our 1 year old on the DDP and we found that it varied. We fully expected to pay OOP for anything we ordered for her, but some places charged us and some didn't.

Yes it varied for us too. Especially buffets we were never charged for a drink but TS.................... I guess it depends on the server. :confused3

I was almost sure that I read somewhere...maybe the restaurant brouchure that children under 3 would get a free drink at all TS restaurants, can anyone confirm this?:confused3

Keep in mind the cost of milk these days, the mouse will likely charge for it. Certainly you could drink ice water and let him have/share your beverage, that is definitely allowable on the DP. He might enjoy that milk shake or smoothie!

we took our son when he was 2.5 and at all TS 's he was given a drink of his choosing --no charge. -Of course @CS you only get what you pay for. IMO buffets are best because they have food for you and plenty of kid friendly items--mac n' chz, chicken nuggets, pizza. 1900 Park Fare is excellent.
As I mentioned above we JUST returned last week with 1 yo and 3 yo granddaughters and we paid for everything we got the girls. There were no free drinks whether it was a TS or Buffet. We expected to pay and had no problem with it. But we also buy TS meals for both granddaughters. They want their own food and nothing from us. Actually at WCC, the 3 yo ate nothing. She didn't like anything on the skillet, so all she did was drink her apple juice. We tried everything on the skillet and the server commented on the fact that she hadn't eaten anything, but never offered to bring an alternative. Afterall we were a party of 6, so she knew her gratuity was a done deal. (We were not impressed with our server here.)

When our DD was 2, we ordered her something to drink at every TS meal and she ate off of our plates. Some restaurants charged for her drink and others did not. We had no problem with paying for her drinks as she was not included in the DDP at that time.
Look at it as a gift if you aren't charged. :)

We were planning on buying drinks for our son, but I heard some people say they were getting it free. I just wanted to see what other people were doing.
