We are considering a quick trip (no kids) in the next 2 months. Because we are planning a big trip next summer, we thought we could get APs now. The usual places I look for AP rates have not posted them. Does anyone have a link or a post that would show AP rates for this time period?
Thanks.

Mousesavers.com lists the current AP discounts. We did get a value for $54/night for the end of Sept/beginning of Oct. I don't know other hotels since the values actually have a calender for the link to the fall specials on the Passholder section. You cannot access the passholder section without having an AP or voucher.

Thanks. I only saw a few rates (very few) listed there.
Any other source? Thanks.

You can call and get prices with AP rates. Make sure you ask for the nightly rates-weekends/season changes. You just act like you're making a reservation to get the rates.

AP and Florida Resident rates are usually exactly the same. All you need is a Florida zip code to access the Florida Resident page. You can check the rates yourself there.

I could only check the FL rates for the FL specials (fall & winter 2008). No way to check hotel rates for 2009.
Anyone got any other ideas?

If you order one of your AP vouchers now and get it by mail you can use the online pass holder’s site, they take about 2 weeks to arrive if that is in your schedule. Other wise just call CRO and ask for the availability and AP rate for when you are booking. Typically they are about 25% off but some units that they want to move go up to 40% off, this summer WL, AKL and OKW and SSR DVC studios were some of the best. You do not have to have your AP to book you just need it or your voucher or AP when you check in.

The discounts for 2009 aren't available yet. The discounts for Sept 28-Dec 23 just came out about a week and a half ago. You can book, if a discount comes out and most likely it will, apply it.

That's because the 2009 FL resident or AP rates are not out yet.

OK, thanks. I was under the impression that there was a standard discount, like there is with AAA (e.g., value season, moderate resort, 20% off). I didn't realize that you needed to wait for a particular code.
