I am not quite THAT bad... LOL! But I do like to have some idea what we are doing each day... Palo is reserved for our adult times, we have our trips reserved, and when we do WDW we play it a little more by ear. I reserve one adult meal for the trip, and one character meal, the rest we play by ear....

Absolutely you are a good mother! You do realize first of all that staying in and recovering her (and your!) health is an important priority...

2nd of all, pizza is a wonderful food! It has something from all of the food groups! Diary, grains, meats, fruits and veggies... in fact, it is a perfect food! LOL! Feel better now? :)

As for exciting days... I am playing around online trying to decide on how I want my haircut to be next week... going to do something different with it for the first time in... MANY MANY years.:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Patty (good friend and hair stylist) said that since it is "virgin hair" as in never permed or dyed she can donate it! I am SO pleased about that... (it is currently nearly waist length, going closer to shoulder length!).

hows that for exciting? The boys are arguing with each other, Sean feels icky still, Kaj is being the mean big BOTHER, and Brian has retreated into his inner sanctum.

Hey guys! We're back from Labor Day vacation. Just went to a local resort and swam a lot and had good food. It was kind of cramped with 2 little kids and 2 adults in the room....got us to thinking how tiny it will be for the 4 of us in a Cat 11. Oh well. Motivation to stay out of the cabin and play, play, play.

Exciting Hurricane weather ahead. Hope everyone stays safe. No telling what Oct will hold.

What we mean by a Mystery Cruise is....with the hurricane season in full swing, sometimes ships cannot follow the itinerary they have planned. We are "scheduled" to go to St Marten and St Thomas, however, if the Islands receive a lot of damage or weather does not permit docking, we'll go on to somewhere else. Unfortunately, that means that Castaway Cay might take a beating too, and if it's not ready to take on passengers, then we might be stuck at sea another day OR docking somewhere else! Hence, where we go might be a mystery!!! As of right now, I am hoping our itinerary stays the same since we have never been to either Island, but if we end up elsewhere, then that just gives us another reason to booko another cruise!!!! LOL

Okay, Connor and Steve are off to practice, and I "started" to clean, but didn't get very far. It seems no one can get anything done without me!

Have been busy as always. Can't wait for cruise time but we have something every 2 weeks until then.
2 weeks from now we go to Kalahari water park in Sandusky, Ohio for 1 night. DD won a gift card from the summer reading program at the library. Two weeks after that is DD's 6th birthday party and then 2 weeks after that we have the cruise.
Now, I just need to get magnetic printer paper so I can print out our door magnets .
The FE exchange stuff arrived and I have to sort through that.

Since we home school, 1st grade has been keeping us busy.

No, we didn't take the camera. It was out of batteries. Mostly would just be kids floating around.

One super thing...DS did great on his potty training. It was kind of a dry run on how he'd do on the big vacation/cruise and he was perfect. No accidents. Not to be gross, he would even let us know when he had to go when he was swimming and would get out like a big boy and do his thing in the rest room. Think he's ready for the Mickey Pool and Oceaneers Club.

LOL so we talked about that, then she was showing me her peach, apple and pear trees. Before I knew it, she had the ladder out and I was up picking fruit! LOL Now I have a HUGE bowl of fruit I am not sure what I am going to do with! Had I got this yesterday, I would have make a cobbler for the party today. Maybe I'll have time to do something with it tomorrow!

This could be done, but it's not for me.

Staying on the ship isn't a bad idea. On our last cruise, we stopped at costa Maya, Mexico. We didn't plan an excursion and planned to just do some shopping. We weren't impressed with what was available and were back on the ship less than two hours after getting off. We had a blast. Merkie spend most of the day in the pool. From time to time another child would come along for a while, but for the most part she had the pool to herself.

That would a part of the whole thing... when you get to your mystery spot, you would find out where you were, and they would give you a list of possibilities, along with maps, information, etc. Either the night before, along with a way to sign up for tours and such (perhaps a lottery so you would find out in the AM if you got it if there were limited spots) or some other such thing? I Don't know, just thinking off the top of my headachey head here!

I know just think when both of yours go to school. My neighbor said it today and she hit the nail on the head. I have to let both of mine go at one time. Might be a few cruises to nowhere, but no cancellations unless the storms will have an immediate impact on the ship. They did end a cruise early one year, and then took the ship out to sea with the crew only for a couple of days. The next cruise was shortened, but it went.

Well, they're off. The bus was 10 minutes late from the time the schedule said it would be here (and 20 minutes later than she picked them up last year) so I know they will be late on the first day. How nice! They are already going to have a bunch of late buses, because they closed an exit off the main road, that went to the schools, that most of the buses used to take, over the summer. So now they all have to take the left turn at the stoplight off the highway, and the turn lane is only long enough for 3 buses. This should be very interesting.

I had forgotten how much I hate to get up at 5:30!!

Yo yo yo. Wud up peepz? Sorry I haven't been on but Shauna will tell you that I'm the worst at trying to keep up with everything. Anyhoo....

So, as you know Shauna is at Disney with the munchkin. Dropped her off yesterday at the airport and they arrived safely. I decided last night to stop by my parents house and cook some steaks. Well, as I'm cooking the steaks and talking to my mom in the backyard I happen to look over at the neighbors towards the front of the house and noticed that a branch on their palm tree is on fire. No one lives in the house so my mom and i walk over but then the fir went out. We hear a strange noise and then the fire is back. As we look up we notice the the palm branches are rubbing against some wires causing the branches to catch fire. We got a hold of the police and they got FPL and the fire truck out and took care of it. It didn't become a huge fire but at one time the middle of the palm tree had a good flame.

I got a picture but i couldnt get the flame. you can see the smoke. Thank goodness it didnt catch the rest of the trees on fire and move to our house.

Well, that was my excitement for Labor Day.

We sailed through a cat 2 hurricane on our Panama Canal cruise 3 years ago. It was really fun! You could feel the bow of she ship go up and slam back into the water. Walking the stairs was a bit challenging. We did miss the one port I really to see though, Cabo San Lucas. We ended up in Manzanillo, Mexico instead. Not a fun place.

Hello everyone!! Babies are sleeping, so 'Chele is playing! LOL

It's been a crazy day! Got the kids to the bus...barely, then went to breakfast at McD's with my friend. when I wasn't working we would go about once a week, but now that I am working and she is working more, it just doesn't happen as often as we would like!! After I left there, I went to the school to work out Connor's 504 plan...ADD with poor handwriting...needs more time for writing..... As I am there, I get 3 phone calls!!! Thank goodness I had put my phone on vibrate! First was a friend, the second was Steve and the 3rd was Colton calling from the nurses station! Go figure. SO I grab him and take him home, calling Steve along the way. It seems that a very good friend and collegue of Steve's is in the hospital. He has pneumonia AND is in a coma! They want to transport him to another hospital, but they don't think he would survive the flight. Honestly, I woudn't want to go to that hospital anyway. If you have time, can you add Rob Rice to your prayer list tonight? He is a very special man. His Mom passed on several years ago, his Dad is still living as well as his sister and brother. Rob is divorced...she was an evil witch. Rob is only 40 years old. He and Steve always share a room for the trade show. the hospital is wanting to know who he shared a room with, where did he go, what did he eat...Steve would know all that. they pretty much hang out together the entire time they are there. Please, Dear God, give him strength and give the Doctors the knowlege to know whats best for him.

Then I came here so Jennifer could at least work part of the day!!!!!

Doesn't that figure? Our kids were late the first 2 days. The second day nearly 30 mins. But they still allowed them time to eat breakfast get their stuff and get to class. My kids are not stupid. They ate breakfast that day too...even though they ate at the house!! Just delaying!!!! I hope everyone has a good first day!!!

We've got you beat. Merkie was an hour late on the first day. She had a very late hair appointment on the night before the first day. We didn't get home until 10:00 p.m., so I put her on to bed. She got up on time the next morning, but the stylist had put so much product in her hair and where she slept on it, it was flat, sticky and aweful. She had to shower (which she usually does at night). He hair is so thick it take forever to blow dry (which we usually do not do, we air dry, that's why she showers at night). Long story short, she was a hour late on the first day.

What there was only like 5 million people there. We actually left POP on the Sunday at about 9am to head over to the AKL. So we were long gone probably by the time you arrived. Should I mention Fay, your timing was perfect. Ours was very wet for 5 days, but ended beautifully.
Hope your famly enjoyed themselves as much as we did, and the best part we go again in a few weeks.

I just got back from the mall!!!! I had to take Meagan to get some last minute stuff for school, she starts tomorrow!!!!! Actually first we went to Costco to order her glasses, then to the mall, then Marshall's, then Target!!!!! I'm tired!!!! But we got almost everything done!!!!! Randy is going to a Dodger game with his brother!!!! I should be back later to chat........unless I have an allergy attack like last night!!!!

Hi everyone!! Im posting from the Poly here at Disney :cool1: Im finally able to get on the internet...I tried so hard to get on when I got here yesterday but the modem line wasnt working so they had to send a technicion up here to my room today to fix it. Yesterday we hit MK after we got checked in, and it wasnt bad at all...You can tell its pretty good when you can actually see the castle from the walkway without tons of people in front of it :laughing: We rode Small world (no wait, just walk right on) and then Chris just wanted to walk around. I tried to get him to go on the other rides but he said he missed Papa and was a little sad. But we came back to the room and then at 10pm we watched Wishes from the beach here...we were the only ones out there (it was the quieter beach closer to the Lua. We sat on the nice wooden swing (well I did) Chris played in the sand. He liked it because he could see the fireworks without being scared of them :thumbsup2

Today we hit Epcot and he was a bit more cheerful. Although it was a rough morning...we waited for the tech to fix the line then when we did make it out the door at about 1:30pm we were on the monorail and almost to comtemporary before hitting the transportation and ticket center to get off and poor Chris has an accident...he told me he had to go potty but I couldnt get him there fast enough since we were riding the monorail...poor guy felt so bad :sad1: So we headed back to the room for a new pair of clothes and spent a good hour cleaning him up and helping him to smell all nice :flower3: Then we hit the monorail again for another attempt. We did finally make it to Epcot at about 3pm or so. We rode spaceship earth (no wait) and then made our way over to nemo (again no wait) then after nemo I decided to see how bad the wait for dinner was at Coral Reef (they said 25 mins) so I figured what they hay...Chris LOVES watching fish and that would be the perfect place for dinner. So we got in sooner than that and got placed at a table right there by the glass and Chris was happy that Mr.Ray as he calls him (a huge stingray)was sitting right next to him. He was even happier when the got his drink and he had a plastic dolphin thing with it...that became his new best friend. After dinner we hit "Figment" I mean "Journey into the imagination" and again...NO WAIT. I know that the bigger rides did have waits...not as bad as I have seen but about 45-60 mins depending on which one. But we didnt go on any of those since Chris usually doesnt meet those hight requirements anyways.

He is fast asleep in his stroller now, he zonked out when we walked back to our hotel from the transportation and ticket center (I figured it would be quicker than the monorail since we wont have to stop at 3 other places) And IF we go to Epcot again, then we may just go that route :rolleyes1

Gail- Ive missed chatting with you as well. I was so upset that the internet wasnt working here yesterday. I wanted so bad to get on and say hi to everyone and chat. I did!! So I ran home to check on Colton, flip the wash and then took off to the eye drs office to pick up paperwork, to the postoffice to mail my Dad's shirt and hat I had made and then to Home Depot for new hangers for the back of the bathroom doors. The boys have manage to break both of them!

I don't know how they got it, but it's their real name. When I walked into the office, the secretary was talking with one of the teachers about it and I thought they were gossiping about someone and making fun. They assured me that it was literally the family's name. Then, I gave another child a ride home after academic team practice and Merkie and Emily were talking about the boy being in their class and I asked them what his name was and they said it was Brandon Goodliving.
