Hi, I sure could use some help from those of you familiar with moderates. We've only stayed at All Star Sports and camping one year at Fort Wilderness. Last year was our first year to get connecting rooms at All Star Sports and it worked out so great, we loved it.

Now, this year we're taking my father along (he's 78). I was thinking of upgrading to a moderate with connecting rooms. Are any of the moderates better than others for connecting rooms and not such long walks to food courts/bus stops?

Also, any thoughts on food courts in the moderates? Thanks so much and pixie dust to everyone!!

POR has beautiful and not very long walks, but FQ would be even better in that regard as it is smaller. You would also have the benefit of the boats to DD. I can't help about connecting rooms.

I realize that CBR is a very large resort, but I've stayed there twice and had a room that was a very short walk to everything.

We were in Martinique, building 25. I requested a room close to everything due to my husband's and son's medical needs. If you decide on CBR, be sure to tell them that you need a room that's close to Old Port Royale which is where the food court, restaurant, main pool, shops, etc are located. Martinique 25 is also close to the bus stop and quiet pool too!

Other buildings at CBR which have short walks are:

Martinique 26 and 24
Trinidad North 31, 32, and 33

My first choice is Martinique 25 because it's set back from parking lot, therefore none of the rooms have a parking lot view, and it has a beautiful soft sandy beach between it and the lake :)
