On a thread someone said...."I booked a Cat 1 so I will have my choice of excursions".
Does this mean excursions are offered to those in the more expensive rooms first? How does one book the excursions? Can you pay in advance? How early can reservations for excursions be made?
Thanks in advance...:)

To my knowledge, being in a suite does not give you any special privileges regarding excursions. Anyone can pre-book excursions after the final balance is paid (but no sooner than 60 days in advance).
If you decide not to pre-book and you are in a suite then the concierge staff can take care of booking your excursions for you once onbard, but there is no space saved on any excursions for suite guests. You take the risk of an excursion being sold out just like anyone else.

Just so that I have this clear, if you are cruising on DVC points...you can't book excursions until the 60 day window right? Just want to make sure I understand that right then.

I don't think you can book any excursion until the 60 day window period.

Actually it's the 59th day before the cruise before you can book. (I just tried and was told exactly what day I can book!)

but i think i read somewhere that in the cat 1, 2, and 3 since you have concierge service, they will take care of the arrangements for your excursions. Can't be sure, but think i saw this somewhere in my research.

Hello all! I'm sure this has been mentioned elsewhere, but how do we book excursions? We are going on our cruise in less than 4 weeks for our honeymoon, so I'm wondering if I should book now or wait until the cruise? Do we just call up the cruise line to book our excursions or should we call our travel agent? How do we find out what is offered? Thanks so much!!
