We have some lingering showers here in Jacksonville but I am SO thankful it has finally let up! It looks like Fay has moved on to torturing the panhandle now. I hope everyone there is doing ok

We packed the car last night and then hit the road at 3:30am this morning. We are now just passing through Jacksonville. Only hit some rain back in SC for shot 20 minutes. I'm sorry that Fay has moved on to torchure another geographic location, but I'm so glad she won't be rainning on our Disney vacation all week. We head tithe Wonder on Thursday and we are praying that another system doesn't pop up behind Fay.

We have had several bouts of liquid sunshine today. The sun was shining and it was raining like crazy.

I was so excited to actually see the sun today!! I thought we may never see it again. Though we are having an afternoon storm currently, I'm hoping the sun is back out this evening. Certainly brightens the mood :)

Hope it dries out for you soon!
It's raining today in Michigan...I don't know if it has anything to do with Fay, but it's a little dispiriting. Hence, I'm on the DIS. :)

What a bummer, we are sitting in our room (for the night until we check in at A.S.S.) at the Comfort Inn on Sand Lake looking out the window waiting for the rain to subside so we can break out of here and head over to Universal and ride the Simpsons ride. Until then I'm stuck watching womens vollyball (not my choice) with the family.

We are hoping for mostly sunny days with some liquid sunshine to shorten the lines at certain rides.
We bought some rain gear for this week.

Just give it a couple of weeks of sunny weather and SOMEONE will say we really need some rain.

When we were there in May, there was a desperate need for rain. I hope you ge some sunshine too! Send some rain here to Illinois - it hasn't rained significantly in weeks!

Honestly, I really feel for the people who had vacations at WDW scheduled last week. That had to be a serious bummer! I hated the fact that it rained one afternoon when we were there this past June. I couldn't imagine being there and being rained on every day, not to mention the high winds and tornado threats! Sheesh!

Central FL might be starting to dry out but now NW FL is getting hammered. It isn't raining cats and dogs - it is raining pumas and dingos!
