I know I have seen the PanoraMagique mentioned in other threads, but a search did not result in any finds, In one of the threads, perhaps a trip report, it seems that someone mentioned that did not get to ride this becuase it was down at the time, something they stated as happening a lot. Has anyone ridden this and what was your experience? It seems like it would be worth the money for the ride, but is it closed more than it is open? How long is the ride and the wait to ride it?

If the wind is up at all this attraction is not on.
It is definitely worth a trip if you get the chance.

Thanks for those photos. It looks lovely and I think that you are correct in that we will have to try it if open.

Seeing the picture looking down through the the tether space makes me glad it wasn't operating while we were there. My hands are sweating just looking at the photo :scared: .

Brilliant pictures Reid, we didn't get to go on it this time (would you believe we ran out of time!!!) but Rebecca and I did in 2006, a wonderful experience and the views are amazing.

It is definitely worth doing but if you see it open grab your chance and do it then ~ it may have to close later.

We were hoping to go up at night this time but although we saw it open quite a few times in the day the only time at night was always when we were on our way to a meal reservation. Typical!! ;)

It wasn't operating when we were there - the torrential rain and thunderstorms might have had something to do with it :thumbsup2

Shame, as I would have loved to go on it, it looks amazing.

They are great pictures. It must give you a superb view of the whole park from up there.

If thats on at Christmas when we are there (which i doubt) it will have to be the mrs that goes on it, you'll not catch me on it, was getting a case of the old vertigo just looking at the pics lol

We did it two weeks ago, It was the best thrill ride of the holiday,It does last about 10 mins, although its about 4 up and 4 down with only a couple actully at the top.
A tip is to stand at the 3 o clock position (looking towards cafe mickey) when boarding as the ballon doesnt twist going up that way you have the best views of the parks.

On Wednesday night we noticed it was up at 11.15, just as the fireworks were starting. That must have been a fantastic view. :woohoo:
