This trip is my first time with Tiffany Towncar. They have suggested a pick up time of 2 hours and 20 minutes prior to my flight. Will this be enough time? On a friday evening? Are the drivers prompt? What about security delays at the airport? Should I request an earlier pick up? Or asume they know what they are doing and leave matters alone?

You should be fine. At most, it's a 30 minute drive to MCO, that would still give over 1 1/2 hours. If your airline offers curbside check-in, use it rather than standing in the counter line. I've used TTC twice and the driver was early for the pickup both times (by 15 or 20 minutes). Ask the driver who picks you up when you arrive what he thinks. If you are anxious about it, ask for an earlier pickup for peace of mind. I always confirmed my pickup time by phone the day before.

Does Continental offer curbside check in?

This is one of those things that changes frequently enough that I'd check at MCO when you arrive - you'll have plenty of time to change your TTC reservation. If you feel more comfortable, call Continental and ask. But remember the call again closer to your flight date.

My personal experience is that there wasn't any when I went in Nov. I haven't been back to MCO since, but did use Continental curbside check-in in EWR last week.

we flew out of mco yesterday and airlines rec. you get to airport no less than 2 hours. Thelines weren't too bad at 8:30 but they say security lines on the weekend days are very long and it does take 2 hours.

I also would get to the airport at least 2 hours ahead of time. We had no problem with lines but upon returning arrived to find out our flight had been changed to an earlier time and we had not been notified and had missed. Luckily we there early and they were able to put us on another flight that left and hour earlier then we had originally planned and everything worked out great. You never know I'd rather take a chance and wait at the airport than be running late and miss your flight. A little girl across from us was on a cell phone with a relative that was meeting her there and arrived to late to get through security and missed the flight as well.

dahirsh,
If you are flying Continental, check their web site for information on wait times at the airports. We are flying Delta, and when I put in my FF # and click on my itineraries, there is a spot to click on that says "wait times" and it tells you how long counter, curbside and security wait is. :)
