14 day unlimited pass question

A kind friend gave me a pass, but will I revert back to my previous levels after my 14 days of whooping it up on the high seas? That is to say, if my sailing skills are rated level 7 and I go up to a level 10 during the next two weeks, will my skill rating drop back down to 7 when the pass expires?

Hey there sir,

Whatever you earn, stays. You just go back to basic's 'abilities'. If you earn a weapon that isn't covered in basic, you won't be able to use it, etc.

Problem is the game is so much fun you wont want to revert back to basic lol. Its a very addicting game once you get the hang of it. So much so I bought the 6 month and cant imagine life with out POTC. I think I like it as much as VMK.
