Eastern Island Excursions for family

We will be travelling with a 6 year old who is a fairly good swimmer for her age...(not olympic!) and is not scared of the water. Does anyone have any suggestions on excursions?

Last year on our 4 day, the water at Castaway Cay was not very clear. Although, it had rained all morning :( .

We leave June 1..Can't wait!

I have not been on any of the Disney cruises, yet. Our first will also be the June 1st. There are many references to alternate beaches that you can travel to on your own and avoid the lengthy excursion hurry and wait. We are planning the Golden Eagle Catamaran on St Maarten, which sails to a beach for swimming and Coral World on St Thomas which is next to a beach. I have also seen some references to the Pinel Island Snorkel Tour. I would also recommend checking some of the other threads as there is some great information out there.
I will have a 6yo with me as well, also a 17yo and an 11 yo.
