I have never posted a personal story on this forum before, just said many prayers. I am devastated to write this but maybe if you have time to pray, it will help us.
My husband of 7 years who I have known for 10 years just decided to up and leave me and my beautiful twins with absolutely no warning while I was at work (I am an RN - work nights - thank God my mom was over with the kids). We never really fought, he just says he is unhappy when he is married - he also was married before many years back and I had 2 nice stepsons (13 and 15) who are going to have to face their dad's irresponsibility again. There is no affair going on (I definitely looked into it), no drugs or excessive drinking that I know of - he just is selfish. There really is no hope but to move forward with the grace of God.
Everyone in our family and circle of friends is shocked - we seemed like the perfect couple I guess - I thought so too. We got engaged at Disneyland, told my parents they would become grandparents there, vacationed there 10 plus times - seems like he was a family man but I guess that shows you never can tell. I sign papers tomorrow since I was the one forced to file - he wanted to do it "whenever" but at least I will keep the house so the twins can have some normalcy. All that matters to me is that I am able to stay strong for the kids and help them to have a good life, so please pray for us as we continue this process.
