Leaving Tomorrow!

My DH and I are jumping in the van tomorrow morning and heading to DL! It's my DH's birthday and I'm surprising him with a stay at the Grand Cal. I can't wait to get there and check into the hotel, he's going to be soooo surprised :D

I'm really hoping for a better vacation this time around. Our last trip was to San Antonio this past September and the 2nd morning of our trip was Sept. 11th (talk about bad luck)! What a nightmare that trip was. I'm from NY and have 2 family members who worked in the Trade Center. We spent all morning trying to get ahold of family and all the next day on a Greyhound bus for 22 hours to get back home. Turned out all my family was ok, one was running late to work and on the subway when the 1st plane hit and the other got out of the building.

Please send good vibes and pixie dust our way for a much better trip this time around :)

Have a great trip! You will love the Grand Californian! It's very nice. Make sure you spend time walking aroung the lobby. It's beautiful! There is also a neat sitting area outside with a huge fireplace and wooden rocking chairs. Check it out!
