Question for fellow cruisers... over the door shoe holders?

We have heard lots of talk about these over the door shoe holders and how wonderful they are to have in the cabin to keep all those little things organized. Supposedly you can find them in the states for a couple of dollars or less, I have only found one here at Walmart and it was $15.00.:confused3
I probably won't use it when we get home, so would anyone know of a cheaper source to find this or another alternative??

Some people I know bought them at the dollar store (not Dollarama, seems they don't have them anymore) for 2-3$. Zellers is supposed to have some as well, but pricier, 10$ maybe?

We just were in Bangor Maine. The dollar tree has them for one dollar so I bought 5.

The cheap ones rip, spend more money on one... You may not use it when you get home but it is a wise investment for a cruise cabin door, JUST be sure to check the measurements of the one you are buying, the cruise cabin door can only accomodate the ones that are 24" wide.....
And be sure you are buying the one that goes over the door and not over a rod ( like in your closet )

this is a must have for me to travel with on a cruise or a week long holiday,

I agree, I have searched high and low for those things at all the dollar stores around here and could never find one. so i had to grin and bear it when i spend 10 bucks at Zellers for one.

Its like anything else when your looking for it you cant find it.
I found a really cool mesh one at dollar rama we bought one and I have put it away until our cruise.

Keep checking the dollar stores you have pleanty of time still

We got the Walmart ones after I searched around quite a few stores in the GTA... but, I got the hooks that hook them on to the door confiscated out of my CHECKED luggage and didn't notice 'till I got home.

I saw them at our dollarama a couple weeks ago. I think it just depends when you get there cause I would bet they go fast. I aslo got some from Ikea not too long ago for $4 except they are not over the door ones but ones that hang on the door handle (still work okay)

I got mine at Walmart....it was 9.99 I believe. To me it looks like it has way too many pockets for just the two of us.....but what the heck, perhaps we will use the whole thing.

I found one at JYSK for 2 bucks and they seem to have dissapeared from the dollarama!

I got one last year at Giant Tiger. You could try there. :)
