When I call CRO, do I need to have the AP already to ask for rates or can I call and get the AP rates without the AP yet? Also, do I call CRO or is there another number to call?
Thanks!

All you have to do is ask for rates with code CFQ (now till September, I believe). If you want rooms October or later, just book at full price and switch it to a discount later. You can call the 1-407-WDW-MAGIC number for reservations. Disney Club has an 800 number, too.
:) Happy Planning!

I don't recall anyone from CRO asking for my AP information.
I have had CM's ask my DC card number when calling the DC toll free number.

You can book the AP rate even if you dont' have the AP yet. but......you have to show it upon check-in or else they will charge you rack rate..... :smooth:

You don't have to have the AP to book a resort (which I find very interesting). Your confirmation will tell you that you have to have the AP upon check-in. While I always have my AP available at check-in, I have never been asked to show it. Likewise I have never been asked to show my FL ID when checking in with a special FL rate. Curious, huh?! Anyway, just ensure you have your AP when you check-in and you'll be fine. :)

For January '01 trip, I boooked using a DC discount.
For January '02, I booked using the AP discount.
Although I was legit for both, I was never asked to show proof at check-in.
