I'm sorry Fay, please forgive me :worship: - I'm terrible with names, it can take me long enough to learn them when I see people face to face, let alone on a discussion board! Fortunately, I've found yours on another thread, so I'll try hard to remember it next time.

I tend to recognize people by their avatar pictures quickly though - gets very confusing when they get changed, or when people double up!

It's bound to leak sooner or later - We're Disers and can't keep quiet about anything. How any of us manage to keep booking holidays secret fro children / brothers etc I'll never know.

edit: I've just got this image in my head of a DIS meet where nobody uses their real name, so everybody's talking to each other by their DIS user name instead :)

Mrs Tigger might get quite offended if we pronounced her name wrong. It could be thirty-six-eighty six, or three hundred thousand six hundred and eighty six. Hmm, that's a mouthful!

Hold on, we appear to be thread hijacking again ;)

I would agree that Halloween looks a great time of year to go and not too badly priced, although personally I think the offer for the last 3 days of Christmas is the biggest bargain of the year!

I figured that's what it was, as I assume it implies the same thing that many people's usernames seem to imply (thelittlemermaid83, lilo68, Bolanette87 and there's probably some others too).

That sucks that you can't have your photo taken with Jack. He should be appearing as a Meet & Greet character IMO.

We are staying in the sequoia lodge, where will you be staying?

I hope that at least one day my dd will be wearing her costume that i am making, I am going to make it a doubler, dance/halloween costume, pair of trousers with one leg short and one leg long, a top and a tutu either in orange or black netting, I am hoping to find a nice leather jacket for her to wear with it she already has some black boots if they still fit. I am hoping to cover the stuff I make in disney patches hopefully in a halloween style, so i am now trawling ebay.

Hi There Everyone,

I'm new here..... We've booked (DD age 11) and myself for a girly 3 days the week of halloween, but back home for the big night itself. I love halloween more than xmas!

Can anyone give me some hints and tips please. Never been to any of the DL resorts before, not sure what to expect but want to do it before DD turns into a grumpy teen.

Should we take our fancy dress? Will I (35) be too old to dress up and just look silly (I dress myself and house for halloween at home and everyone thinks I'm crackers). Should we eat early? I'm starting to panic a bit.....

Thanking you, Bexsmum

I'm not sure so don't quote me on this but I think adults are only allowed to dress up for the Halloween party night. Hopefully someone will be able to confirm this or not confirm this.

I think you may be able to dress up on MNSSHP aswell, but i know that regarding park rules in WDW your not allowed to dress up in costumes resembling Disney characters etc. Though on special party occasions you are. Not sure on DLP's guidelines regarding this though.

Then again, we'll only be 2 behind you by the time we return in January because we did a similar thing and went mid January.

We werent far behind we did 4 last yr with our APs (certainly got our moneys worth ) in fact 5 if you count the fact one was split into 2.

We did 5 days end of july 07, 3 days Christmas 07, 2 days Easter 08 then went to the campsite for a week and returned for 5 days the following week then did 7 days end July 08 just before APs ran out.

Not that we are addicted to going or anything :rotfl:
