Has anyone in the UK rented a cot for there child when they have stayed in WDW. We are going with our DS 2 in 6 wks & I am worried he will not sleep in the pac & play for 1 night never mind 2 wks, I know WDW has cots but do not provide bumpers etc for them and not readily available & believe it is first come first served sort of thing !!! Oh & they are metal hospital style ones if they do have them ! Anyone got any opinions please let me know good or bad. 2wks no sleep who cares I'll be in Disney:rotfl: :rotfl: No really anyone help !!

We were at POFQ with our 2 and a half year old, my DD slept in the bed with with me or our husband with a bed rail on the other side. We had no trouble getting one, just phoned Mousekeeping. I think they do trundle beds too, which might work for you? Evie would not sleep in a travel cot after about 18 months, she loves beds!!!

He sleeps in a cot at home thats why I thought he would be better in cot, tried pac&play at home screamed the house down put him in cot, ah bliss :lovestruc sleeping in 2 minutes, hence the reason we are worried. What is a trundle bed !!He will only just turn 2 when we are there day before we fly home.

I'm not 100% sure, but think it's like a little roll out floor down on the floor. There are companies you can hire cots and things from too.

Hi,
We have rented a cot from A Babys' Best Friend $80 per week .
It arrived at our resort Old Key West & was delivered to our room .
Beautiful sanitized bedding , cot bumpers , gorgeous thick sealy mattress .
it assembles in 5 mins - no tools involved .
Our little girl didn't sleep at all in our first 2 week trip in the pack n play - so the following year we took our own larger than average travel cot , which was slightly better ( Just a pain to haul with the rest of the luggage!)
We then hired from this company , and never looked back!!!!
My princess slept like a dream !

We have since hired twice for my 2 year old son & he loved the gorgeous pale blue bumpers & quilt with jungle animals on - he too slept as though he were at home.

At the end of the vacation - pack the cot & call bell services who take it back to await collection.

You can hire anything for your babys' needs from them - take a look at their web site .

Hope this helps

Sam:)

I stayed at SSR in April with my then 2.2 year old, he slept in the pack and play. The first night he kept popping his head up to see if we were there after that he was so EXHAUSTED from his busy days he would have slept anywhere. He is still in a crib at home.
Be aware that im the US a cot is usually some sort of roll out bed so when you are making a reservation or booking for one clarify what you are reserving.

Good luck and have a great time!

when we went last december we couldnt book one through travel agent as DS was over two so i emailed CBR and we had a cot in our room free of charge!! its just like the travel cots as far as i'm concerned. DS slept wonderfully in it for two weeks. just remember to take bedding as they provide a single sheet which is no use at all:confused: oh yeah they couldn't understand what i meant at first calling it a cot, crib they called it!!

Thank you Sam think I will go with this option I like to know that he has a safe, clean bed that he will hopefully sleep in & I just know that he will not sleep in pac & play & also this way no having to take cot bedding !!

Hi ,
I am absolutely certain you will be extremely satisfied !
My little boy slept as he does at home , and we took the view he had as much right to sleep in a comfortable bed , just like the rest of the family !
Well rested children are all set up for lots of daytime fun !!!!

The first time my little girl was in a pack n play , she was awake every morning at 4.00 am & my hubby had to walk her round the resort in her buggy !

I'll be interested to know how you get on - let me know if you remeber :)
Happy trip !
Sam:) :flower3:
