We're staying at Fort Wilderness in a cabin. They have 1 bedroom with double bed and bunk beds and a pull down bed in living room. They also have a full kitchen. I think the other choices are all deluxe except for the family suites at all star music.
We booked through virgin but i don't think you can do the family suites with them. You could always book the room with disney direct and then get your flights seperately.

hi
Port orleans have the roll out beds (although we never used it we knew it was there from all the bruises we got off it) so 2 double beds and a roll out, but may not be what you are looking for with the ages of your children.

I have stayed at POR but my children are younger than yours and i think the max age for the roll away bed is 9yrs but i am not 100% sure. There are the DVC resorts that you could get a two bed apartment but choices are limited. We are also a family of 5 and it never works in our favor! :thumbsup2

Have you thought of the All Star Music Family Suites?

Lesley to be honest I think that you are lookig at DVC or a Deluxe, the Family Suites at All Stars are basically 2 adjoining rooms BUT it is also priced as 2 rooms so not a cheap option either. If you aren't 100% set on on-site then Staybridge Suites & Springhill Suites at LBV are a good choice & we have stayed at both.

thanx everyone,
its for my friend for 2009 ive told her ASMu have the family suites, but she keeps calling me to say ASMO sleep 5 with Virgin, ive said no its only POR that sleep 5 (to cut very long story short, we are both travel agents work for diff companies so she will book it herself). i am Disney specialist for Scotland for the agency i work for so I am very focused on room types etc for my company.
She is definite on staying onsite stayed on Inter drive 2 years ago, wants to try Disney. ive always stayed onsite, and feel its the best for us.
