How far is Alamo from Onsite properties?

I notice that Alamo has an onsite rental location (Portofino) but it says that it isn;t actually onsite, but on Universal Blvd, just adjacent to Universal Property. We want to rent a car for the day while there. Exactly how far is it? Can we walk or should we plan on taking a cab? We will be at The Royal Pacific, but we could take the water taxi to the Portofino right?

I don't know about Alamo, but water taxis usually go from the hotel to Citywalk, not hotel to hotel. You can take the water taxi from RPH to Citywalk, and then from Citywalk to PBH. That may change when RPH opened, but no water taxi runs from HRH to PBH, so I assume RPH will be the same.

There is a bus from the HRH to Portfino and US, they will probably, I hope they add the RP to the bus route.

Alamo is in the lobby of the PBH.

Also, their rental cars are located in reserved spots on PBH parking deck
