HI!!!!

I would love to buy a piano for Ernie and Amelia to learn. I used to know how to play a little bit -- took lessons for a couple of years. I would love to try and pick it up again. I've played violin since I was 7. I still fiddle around (:rotfl: ) every now and then.

I would love to play the violin but won't happen anytime soon.:sad2: i have played piano forever and love it. Just wish I had more time to sit and play.

My kids were/are that way! The first few times I took Samantha on a plane she was 5 months and then 10 months. I have always heard the stories of babies crying and people giving the "stare" and dreaded that I would be the recipient of said stares.

Imagine my surprise when Sam slept the entire flight and when we got off the plane the people sitting near us say, "there was a baby with you? I didn't know, she was so quiet."

Now after being at WDW or on the cruise, they fall asleep either as we are taxiing or shortly after takeoff.

We got the same thing when we flew with DS. He was 3 1/2 months when we took him to Puerto Vallarta and 6 months when we went to Vegas (Suz friend is like a Grandma to him and more of a mom to her than her own, that's why we took him out there - talk about stares on a plane).

Extreme politics, must be either Fox or MSNBC. I still can't believe how far MSNBC has gone this year.

I won't single either one out as being worse than the other because both of those networks pander to the extreme of their respective parties; Jay and I like to watch both sides of the argument even though our minds have been made up for some time.

The things politicians do ... and the things the media does to enable them ... and the things we as citizens don't call any of them on ... :sad2: Shame on them for doing it and shame on us for letting them.

Evening all! I am going to try FF miles for at least one ticket. We are really lucky here because we have no less than 5 airports to check for flights.

I was thinking about trying F&W next year before the cruise. It sounds interesting and I think Laxdad would like it.

Amelia has shown interest in both violin and piano.
What age is a good age to start piano?

Did you hear that MSNBC isn't going to allow Chris Matthews and Keith Olberman to anchor news shows? They will only be commentators.

I think they have crossed a line.

Yeah, Brokow and Williams went to the high-ups to complain it is falling over to the normal network.

Like having them as commentators is any better.

Melody, Jason has been playing piano since he was six - if I am allowed to say nice things about my lovey he is very talented at it, even though he doesn't keep up with it as much as he used to.

yep, and Cincinnati is always the last choice!!! They are always higher...much higher. We saved $200 per person driving to Indy for our cruise last week plust we got to use a FF ticket.

I just linked to this site in one of my classes because I thought it was fun to look at the pictures and try to figure out the "disaster" before reading the tag. It's called Photoshop Disasters (http://photoshopdisasters.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html). ENJOY! I linked to a May post because the current one is a little more risque. I don't want to offend anyone.

FF Miles won't work out of MKE that time of year. Like I said earlier, it is Teachers' Convention weekend at the end of the cruise. Everyone in WI will be coming back from FL at that time.

We've gone through Cincinnati from our local airport as a connection. The only thing I don't like about that airport is the bus transport from terminal to terminal.

I figured between 4 and 7 would be a good time. I want to start her next year at a "Little Suzuki" school for violin.

Our DS started piano in Kindergarten.

We have been checking Madison and O'Hare on this end with Tampa as a backup down in FL. We actually don't mind Tampa, it is only about 30 minutes further.

Have at it.

What I have done in the past is quote post #1, copy it and paste it in the new thread. Then make the appropirate changes/updates. I think a lot of new BOBers are missing from the list though.

If you have questions, ask Andy or myself.
