I'm in Melbourne, Brevard County.
It began raining here Tuesday and didn't stop until Thursday afternoon/evening.
We got about 24" +/- of rain.
Our pool overflowed by 8:00 AM Wednesday; the retention pond behind our house overflowed and caused the storm drains to fill up and flood the streets. There was about 15" of water in the street here. Thank goodness our house sits higher than the street--our sidewalk was under water, though.
Luckily, I had minimal water damage. Some developments were flooded and had to be evacuated by the Sheriff's Dept or Nat'l Guard.

Yes, unbelievable rain totals in some spots. I can't imagine 25". Hope you're doing ok.
We only got a couple of inches of rain, despite the "eye" moving directly over us. But we didn't have it sit and spin for days.

Myself and DS are flying in tomorrow. It looks like there are still a lot of storms going on. I deliberatly chose Florida because of the weather, WDW, U, THE CAPE, & the pools!:confused3 Now I'm not sure if I made the right choice swithching from New York to Florida. This will only be our second trip, I'm a BIG KID, so it only seemed right. I am just wondering if the pools over at the Orange Lake Resort will be suitable to swim in, as well at Typhoon Lagoon. Are the parks staying open? Any of you near the parks and the Cape please let me know.:scared:
