What Are Your Plans for the Summer?

Yayyy!!!!!! Only 2(ish) months to go!!! :D

I'm going on this music trip to the south of France in June, and (this is the good bit) we get to sleep in a castle :eek: :D

DLP in July!!! :Pinkbounc

And I'm going camping with my friends in August. (This should be interesting, I don't think any of us know how to put up a tent. :rolleyes: )

Hooray!!! Now there's just this whole life-changing exam thing to get through. :eek:

School gets out June 6th

We leave for Floriday June 7th (visiting my aunt and uncle in Naples for a few days then WDW! Yay!:Pinkbounc)

Then I'll have marching band starting like the end of June, march in the 4th of July parade, then more marching band in the end of July. Band camp is the end of July/beginning of August, then we have practices until November

And we'll prolly go to Pittsburgh sometime to visit my grandparents and maybe go to Kennywood

And in between that stuff I'll be sleeping and watching tv all day!:D

I have to play at graduation, then i have marcing band for 2 days
then wdw for 13 days! :D
and i have liek 3 books i need to read...yuck!
and ill go to both my grandparents house
and abdn starts last week of July and goes until we start school which i think is like august 15th or so

I am going to camp for 3 weeks then its off to WDW. After WDW I am basiclly just hanging around!!

Have alread started marching band
have sectionals with the color gurad to learn everything that we are going t do at band camp
start swim team
Going back to school to take invotory (sp?) of all the flags and poles
and start working
I might got to Ocean City some time!
Go to WestCheaster for sabre
and then go to Band camp the 3ed week of augest
Then when school starts i have to pratice EVERYDAY till november and go to compete most saterday.. and in november go up to Pen. to ACC's

i love my life!


O and i might want to learn how to drive this summer and i need to try and let my parents let me go to WDW alone!

Oh no no no.... dont get me into this! LoL!

Okay we get out June 11 or something and then I will probably go to Ocean City in June sometime or go do something with my dad and my little brother.

Then in July I am going to Camp with my best friend from 7th till the 21

Then the 28th is my 16th birthday and I might go out to dinner or whatever.

Then I might go to the ocean again the first week of august or I will have a week or so to myself....

Then (LoL) the second weekend of August I am having my big 16th birthday party! Woohoo!!!

Then on the 15th I am going to disney world with my mom my brother and my stepdad, and on the 18th we are going on the disney cruise! Woohoo!

So yea I pretty much will have about two weeks to sleep during the summer....

But, it will fly by too fast.....

My summer is always filled with softball. About 3 days during the week we'll have practice or practice games. And over the weekend we always have a tournament. I also join a bowling league on a day that doesn't conflict with softball. I don't know if I'll have time in there to work, but I might try.

All summer I'll be traveling around with my bro's all-star team. 10 years old the best in the whole state of Kentucky. Hoping to get to the World Series that would be sooooo awsome. It's um... some tpwn near Los Angles and my mom says if we go we will go to DL YES!!!

i can't wait for summer. i get out may 31. :D
well i will be working almost everyday this summer. but hey the money is great.
when i am not working i plan on getting into better shape for my next track season.
i also will be attending a work camp in milwaukee where i will be fixing up houses for the less fortunate for a week.
i plan on going to a lot of cub games. I really want to play alot of golf.
but the most important part of all i am of course going to wdw. i can't wait
going aug 11-18. and i get to stay at the grand floridian.

I just got a pool so I'll be spending alot of time chilling in my backyard this summer lol. I'm pretty much a summertime Jersey shore girl, I'll probably be taking alot of weekend trips there. I'm gonna try to spend alot of time with my friends who are going to college next year. But the best part of the summer will be WDW in August!

I get out of school June 19...

June 30 I leave for Explo at Yale! (With one of my best friends Asra, and also a DISer - Katie (AFGirl325!) :) )

That is through July 20...

My 16th birthday will be at Yale, July 16!

I have to continue practicing driving, and when I get back from Yale I will be volunteering a lot at my town's library helping in the children's section (racking up those community service hours...lol)

We are considering hosting a foreign exchange student for a semester or year, and they would be arriving in late July or August, so getting ready for that also...

plus lots of summer homework and reading from school...:rolleyes:

Then I am sure I will end up taking lots of little trips...my parents want to go to Yosemite and then we always end up planning other little weekend getaways...

That's pretty much all I have planned so far for the summer - with a day or two at WDW at the beginning and end of the cruise.
I finish school on Thursday (2 more days of high school - yikes!) and start my senior community service project next Wednesday. I'm working at a preschool, I'm so excited. :)
Graduation is on June 8th or 9th. (sad that I don't even know)
I know I'll have a 3-day orientation for college at some point in there but I don't know when - they assign them.
I'm hoping to get a nanny job for the summer - taking care of a baby or toddler because though I can drive myself to and from their house, I can't legally drive the kids around. I figure younger kids won't need to be driven to activities and all that. Last year when I couldn't drive at all I nannied with 2 girls who were 8 and 6 - though they're sweethearts to me in school (K-12 private school, lol) they drove me insane - it was always "Amy get me this!" :o
So anyway, that's a long rambling post about my summer plans. :p

well, regular school was over for me on tuesday, now i only have to show up for tests (we got a lot of them comin up:( )
graduation ceremony is on the 30th of june, my friend and i r in charge of these skits we're gonna be puttin on at the end of the ceremony (i hope theyll b really funny!:D )
that night we're leavin for the states ("we" = me and me familia!;) ) we're goin on The Wonder 4th of july and then we'll b in WDW for a couple of weeks. after that we'll go visit my family in detroit, spend a couple of days in viva las vegas, LA and im hopin new york too (we were there last summer and i LOVED broadway!). after that - the long long long flight home...
