AK bus question

What are the buses like from Animal Kingdom Lodge? I guess what I really want to know is: do the AKL buses stop at other resorts? If so, which ones and in what order?

Isn't it correct that AKL transportation is buses only, there isn't any other options are there?

When we stayed at AKL in Oct. I found the busses to be fine. They only stop at AKL and your destination (except those that do DTD and TL). We only waited more than 5-10 minutes once and that time the wait was about 25 minutes. I've read that the driving time from AKL to MK is 30 minutes but it did not seem that long. Of course we did not have our kids with us then so we may have been enjoying the solitude. :D The drive to AKL is under 5 minutes. Yes, you are right that your only option is the bus.

No, the AKL buses don't stop at any other resorts ... and yes, other than a taxi or your own car, that's the only form of transportation to/from anywhere. To be honest ..yeah, I did find it to be a bit of a pain .. but not SO much of a bother that I wouldn't stay there again. In fact .. I am, this summer! LOL
