We are in room 7500 on the Magic. There are 2 adults a 16yr old boy and a 13 yr old girl. It is probably too late to do anything about this but can someone assure us that we will have enough room. We are not real worried as we have done our share of camping out etc but I wouldn't mind hearing someone's first hand experience Thanks - this board is great!!

That would be a cat 8 stateroom. DCL staterooms are some of the largest in the industry. I think you'll have plenty of room, especially considering that in all likelyhood, the only time the kids will be back to the room is to sleep.

I agree with Firefighter Mickey, you should have plenty of room.

The great thing about Disney is that all the staterooms in cats. 10 through 5 are the same size (other than a verandah or lack of one), and they are definitely larger than the cruise industry standard. Rooms on a ship are generally smaller than hotel rooms, but in comparison with Royal Caribbean, Disney is very generous on the space. You will find that you are mainly in your stateroom only to sleep, so I think you will have plenty of space, especially if you are campers.

I was in a Category 9 last September with two of my sisters. We had plenty of room.
I have booked a Category 8, also on deck 7 (7012) for August 4 night. We will have 4 in the stateroom, Chuck and I and the two kids (ages 16 and 13). We will have plenty of room.

Our family of 4 had the same size cabin on the Magic 3/23. We were OK with the space, but had trouble storing clothing. PACK LIGHT, and maybe plan to do some laundry mid-week.
