Great idea about the envelopes. I just had plain ones with mousekeeping on them. I wasnt going to decorate them too much. I was also going to put a few in the window above our pumpkins we will put on the sill. This could be a project for the 5 1/2 flight down there! :thumbsup2

My hoping with the bags is that I will have them in my carry on and they wont see them. Then when we check in Jeff will take the kids to look around the resort I will sneak up to the room, set the bags on the bed all nice and cute and then come back down with the carryon and pretend I just got done at the front desk and havent been to the room. The bags will be from Mickey. They will also have Disney dollars in them. Now Morgan usually is smart enough to foil these plans. :lmao: but she goes along for Jake's sake.

but it cooled off at night. We ended up bringing our costumes and changing later.
Fri - Sun were hot, but Mon and Tues were not as bad.

The party was amazing!!! The parade and fireworks were fantastic!!! Fun atmosphere!!!
There is a cool photopass at the Haunted Mansion during the party.:cool1:

I wish I'd brought safety pins. The apron on the alice dress kept slipping.
I used the Alice trading pins to attach it to the dress. :lmao:

Don't miss the Wonderland Character trail in Toontown! Since you will all be Alice characters. We saw Mr. Walrus, Queen of Hearts, Alice, and the Mad Hatter. There are candy stops in between and the CMs at them are dressed as playing cards.

Are you bringing a tube or roll of quarters? If you pack it in your carry on, pull it out at security, so they see what it is. After my suitcase went through xray, they pulled it to be searched. They had to wipe all the zippers down with their pads and open each compartment till they found the m&m tube full of quarters & pennies. :rotfl2:

And the old pennys came out beautiful! Everytime we squished one I had to ooh and ahh over how pretty and shiny they were. :goodvibes

No you pick your own seat when you get on the plane but the order you get your boarding pass depends on when you get to board the plane. Usually if you are in "A you are good! :thumbsup2

I just answered you on mine, but I'll copy here too.

Most of the lines weren't bad.

We walked on a lot of rides. At MNSSHP, and at pm EMH at the MK everything was walk on or short wait.

MK sat during the day was really crowded. :sad2:
We didn't get much done then.

The longest lines we saw were for Toy Story Mania (- and they were out of FP sometime before 1pm.) :eek: And I couldn't believe the line for Snow White and all 7 Dwarves at the MNSSHP.

World Showcase was a bit crowded late afternoon and evening, due to food & wine fest.

We checked the times board, and figured out what we needed to FP (Soarin, Test Track, Rock n Roller coaster) and what we could ride quickly and it worked out great. With the number of days you have you shouldn't have a problem riding everything.

We've had some terrible news.

I wont say too many details or specifics on a public board but my brother is in the military and one of his best friends and another Team member were killed in Afghanistan late last week. His tight unit is devastated. I've been out of town with him and trying to figure out if I am going to the funeral at Arlington next Monday or not.

I'm waiting on word if there will be a memorial in San Diego for him after we get back to decide. Tickets to Washington DC are almost $700 so that throws a huge wrench in my budget but we are close to the family so I feel I need to go. My brother says I should honor him with a beer at EPCOT and enjoy the freedoms I have to go on my vacation instead of going to the funeral. My brother will be a pallbearer at the funeral and most of my other familly will be able to make it. I'm torn.

Please pray for their families as they deal with the loss of their sons, grandsons, brothers, fathers, husbands, nephews and uncles. Jason and John, you will be missed.

Rest Easy brave warriors, your mission is complete.

We had such a great trip!!! I cant wait to share everything with you all. Let me tell you Halloween at Disney ROCKS!!!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE MNSSHP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So much fun. We are exhausted and I'm being a bad mom and keeping the kids home from school today as they are wiped out. Still in bed and would be useless anyway.

Jake was sick with a stomach thing the first few days. The plane ride was not much fun with that let me tell you. Poor little guy but we made it through and he ended up getting better.

We were cold there a few days too! BRRR. Desert rats do not do well in rain and 80 degree temps. :lmao: We froze a few nights and then were hot a few days with the humidity but overall the weather was great! It was 106 degrees in Phoenix when we left and magically it turned into an early Fall for us and its cool here now! Ok enough weather talk. :lmao:

Hi Shawna! I broke down and started a first entry in a TR. No pictures yet. There's SO MANY to go through. Photopass is pretty much done, but I did a share with others, so I won't get those for a few weeks. But I wrote out a chapter list and what's funny, is that I broke it down so much that if I do 2 entries a week, I can make my little 5 day trip stretch something like 6 weeks! :rotfl2:

I'm having trouble with photobucket not putting my 1000 pictures up in order but the first few days are there so I promise once I get enough energy to type out the first day I will.

Melody, yes the memorial service was yesterday in San Diego. Unfortunately I could not go because Morgan hurt her ankle:headache: Not doing dance but by the trampoline again. :rolleyes1 Jeff also had scheduling things that he could not get off.

Did I mention that he came home and the regional manager had fired his assistants and the other one quit? Now he's running a store with 80 employees by himself. :scared1: He is so mad. Hopefully they will get replacements in soon. Its just been a complete mess since we've been home. I havent even been home a week!!!! :faint:

I'll be doing that next time. Just makes life easier. Plus I just realized it's better to resize all pics smaller as you add them in. Takes forever to get 'em loaded, I know, but I am very excited to read your trippie when you can get to it!

You know it has me so frustrated with the bulk uploader, usually very easy, however with the 250 max it just seems to pick whatever 250 it wants to downlaod. :headache: I might either delete or move the ones I have into a daily folder. thats a great idea since its giving me so much trouble. Hope you feel better soon.....I always get the cold when i get home - I think its picking up all those germs on the flight, it's just a pressurised incubator for germs hurtling through the air.

Sorry about all your sickness and your DH's work problems. That is a stinky welcome home :sad2: . Poor Morgan, is she going to be okay to dance?? I really hate trampolines but I still think it's better in my yard where I can supervise them on it. I know a girl in our neighborhood that broke her ankle and she hasn't been back to dance since and that was over 2 years ago :sad2: . Looking forward to your report when your feeling better.
