Can anyone advise me what the childrens meals are for the gatwick flight please. we went a few years ago and booked childrens. whilst the food was fine it was covered in gravy :scared1: :scared1: ....ds does not do gravy so he starved then and then the sandwiches he was offered was again something he didnt like.
Whilst we will buy a few things for him at the airport i am wondering whether to stick with an adult meal or book a childs meal. Does anyone have any idea of the childrens food they are doing at the moment.
Thanks in advance:thumbsup2
Go in 5 days time yippee:laundy:

I would book a child's meal but even then don't bank on getting one. We had booked 4 kids meals but only recieved 2 on the way out. Then checked again at DTD on the way back that we had 4 but the 2yr old still did not get one, she had to have an adult meal. I think it was sausage and mash with beans on the way out and macaroni cheese coming back.

theres no set menu for the kids meals, we just flew back from the UK to Caribbean from Gatwick (all flights are catered by same company so it doesnt matter which flight you are on) and the kids meal (Premium Economy) was pasta in tomato sauce, fruit pieces, yoghurt, gingerbread man and a fruit shoot.
afternoon tea was 3 sandwich fingers - PB+J, egg, cheese

Definately go with the kids meal, last year my DS12 wanted an adults meal as she is older and ended up there wasn't anything she (or us) liked but she ended up pinching the cookies and stuff from her brothers meal.
We changed her to a kids meal for the way back and it was fine, still not entirely great but at least they get fruit, yoghurt and a cookie which is better than nothing.
The first time we flew out the sandwiches (for everyone regardless of kids or not) was cheese and onion, OK I thought, we will pick the onion off the kids, but no, it was in mayonaise and absolutely disgusting - hardly anyone we spoke to ate them!!
