Hello --

We are leaving in a week for our 8-day trip to the World. My 7 yo son is an avid reader, so I picked up a lot of cheap used paperbacks to bring with us so he can read them while waiting in line, etc. My thought was that they are cheap enough that we can just toss them as he finishes with them, but I am wondering if there is any way or place where book lovers can exchange or drop off books for others somewhere in Disney World?

Thanks -- hope I posted in the correct section of this forum. Not sure where this topic fits, exactly. I searched but couldn't find where anyone discussed this topic previously. Which reminds me, I should also note that I use this resource a lot, but don't post very much because I almost always find answers to my questions!! Thanks so much!

Liz

I've left a few books behind in rented houses and hotel rooms - when I couldn't fit them in my suitcase :rotfl: You might want to check out the bookcrossing website - you put a sticker in your book and leave it somewhere - then when someone else picks it up they go to the website and say where they found it. You could leave them on the monorail - or in a restaurant - and then track their progress online.

That is a good question! I usually bring magazines, Readers Digest, Guideposts, etc. and leave them in the hotel room when I am finished with them. I figure that maybe the maids will take them and read them.

I've left books in the laundry room. I put a little post-it on the book that says "Free to a good home." I figure that reading time and laundry time go hand-in-hand. : )

That is a great idea - I will do that next time!
