So, we have been thinkin' that it would be fun to talk in real time. So, anyone interested, you will need a yahoo email addy. Sign up over the weekend if you don't have one, and let's try to have a DIS Coffee Talk on Monday.

When I was playing around, it also looks like if you have a Windows Live Messenger ID you can also chat with people on Yahoo messenger.

cool, I a bit techno challenged, so any and all advice is helpful and welcome. I used the conference feature of yahoo messenger today and it was easy and fun!

Are you talking about instant messaging or actual phone conversations? DH used Skype last semester to talk with people in his study group. It was weird to see him sitting at his desk, all alone, talking to no one. LOL (The headset was very tiny & you couldn't see it from across the room.) But I've never used it.

I use Trillian for IMing and have multiple email addys for this purpose: MSN, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, etc.

We did a chat room with yahoo messenger. It was really easy...I just invited from my buddy list. Not sure how many people can be in the room at one time, but it was easy, real time typing... no phone calls...

however, my yahoo acct seems to have gone kaput right now, so I might not be able to chat Monday either.

Evening would be okay for me too... provided one of the kids doesn't have a game or meet... but I'd be up to chatting for a bit while they are doing homework..as long as you don't get mad if I start talking 2x + 4 = 8 now solve for X... when I'm actually talking to one of the kids~

The chat room here would be great! I downloaded Yahoo Messenger yesterday, but something on my computer (probably my firewall) doesn't like it and I can't get it to work.

We are finally home! We are exhausted, but had fun. DS was so exhausted he went to bed at 5:15 tonight.:scared1: DD's horse show went really well on Friday- she got 1st place in riding and 2nd in jumping! I am so proud of her- she's never been on a horse until this week. I will post pictures tomorrow hopefully. She fell on Saturday at my brothers and messed up her ankle pretty badly. Instant bruising, some swelling (not tons) and lots of limping so we will have the Dr. check it out tomorrow.

How about Tuesdays- that way we have a chance to get things done that were undone over the weekend. I know mornings are better for Debbie- she works in the afternoon- is 11am Eastern good?- I know that puts Hope at either 8 or 9 am.

I was only suggesting Tuesday since it is early in the week but Thursday works just as well for me. Really only Wednesday is bad for me.
