If anyone is currently at or will be in WDW in the next week would it be possible to send my little one a postcard from the princesses "saying can wait to see you?". We are leaving the 30th of Aug.

I have posted on the Fairy Godmailer thread (yeah I know, I waited to late) but not had any takers.

I would be more then happy to send $5.00 to cover this either paypal or cash.

If you could help me out I would really appreciate it. Please PM me and I will give the mailing addy and such.

Was also thinking about having my little one get a phone call from one of the characters but I don't know if they still do that.

We are hoping this trip turns out better then the last time (I was the joe who got my home burglarized on our last trip). We have a pretty nasty house sitter this time.

Needless to say we are a little anxious, but my little one gets to be a flower girl in my cousins wedding at WDW !!!!

I think my wife is more excited about that then when we got married. :)

I'll be leaving for Disney World on 8/23. When is your trip? I wouldn't mind sending a postcard, but I don't know that I could get any of the princesses to sign, or do you just want me to play princess? ;)

Hey Drake...I'll be there on the 21st. Do you think it would make it to you in time? If so, PM me your address, exactly what you would like the postcard to say, and which princess you want on the card.

Maybe it would be a good idea to have someone as a back-up. I'm getting really nervous about TS Fay...I know it's still a little early, but our flight leaves late Wednesday evening and I'm afraid any hurricane activity will cause it to be cancelled. And to make matters worse, this particular flight is a non-stop that was already scheduled to be discontinued as of 8/23. So if my original flight is delayed by too long I have no idea what day/time we'll actually make it to Orlando. :(

I'm wondering, is this something that could possibly be requested through Guest Services? If not, it's a shame they don't have some type of program like this.

Also, did you post on the DVC board? There might be some people visiting right now that could send something out immediately.

I'm so glad Kathy caught saw this thread. :goodvibes I was really worried about committing to sending the postcard and then having the situation with Fay cause me to let Drake's little sweetie pie down.

Fay is supposed to make landfall in a couple of days?

Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with it.

BTW, the little one is starting baby ballet. I have a 1 meg video of her spinning in her new ballerina dress if interested. (Ok I am a proud daddy what can I say).

These storms are really a PITA. :mad: We juts went through one that was supposed to be real bad but was not at all. (Thank God).




BTW, to all the Dad's out there, when they free Baby Ballet, don't belive it. I am down $200 and she has not had the first class yet. :)
