Question About Pictures Available at Shutters

When dh and I cruised on RC 6 years ago, they put up pictures each day in a hallway and if you wanted them, you could take them down and buy them. They came in different sizes, but each photo was only available in one size (i.e., our formal was only in 8x10, no smaller option; other photos were 5x7 and we couldn't get 8x10s of them). Is that how they're done on DCL as well? You just take whatever size it happens to be printed in?

Yes, that is pretty much how they do it. I must say DCL put up a huge variety of shots of myself and family, however. There were various sizes of almost all different types and nights. I am sure you will find more than enough that you enjoy!! I always have a hard time selecting just certain pictures and hate leaving some there on the walls, lol.

DCL provides numerous opportunities to have your photos taken and offer a variety of back drops, etc. So many more opportunities since there are Disney characters on board. We had a hard time selecting which ones we wanted (they were all great). Unfortunately by the end of the week, photos got to be one of our major expenses while on board. Enjoy your cruise!!

I'm wondering how it will be regarding photos on my upcoming cruise. This time I am travelling solo. Do you think the only pic they'll shoot of me is upon boarding? Will I need to stand in line with the kids at character photo sessions in order to have onboard photos? If my fellow cruisers see a lone woman in line for the character shoots, it's sure to be me! Somehow I can't imagine them thinking I'm a potential buyer when I'll be solo . . . but I AM!

This brings me to a post I made before - Anyone want to lend me one of their kids for awhile so I can participate in some of this fun stuff?
