how does the bounceback offer work?

We are going in October with the kids and then DH and I are planning on a little 3 day trip just the two of us. We want to stay at Port Orleans French Quarter. Does the bounceback offer let you pick the resort, or is it like a pin code where there are only certain ones you can stay at? Thanks!

If bounceback is still around, you will need to make your ressies prior to your checking out in order to get the discount. I know some resorts had fliers, CBR did when we were there last October. You can make the ressie for any resort and there is an extension you can call from your room to book it. I think there was a 3 letter code, but I just told the CM I had the flier and she knew what I was talking about.

The one going on right now is 40% off DVC resorts and 30% off deluxe resorts. (don't remember what it said about mods and values) We booked our Oct trip at the CR while staying at the BC in May. I just dialed the 3 digit number from our room and they booked everything right over the phone. My email confirmation came shortly after that. Very easy, and a great bargain! :) The only downside is that since our family all has APs we couldn't book a dining plan along with our reservation unless we bought 1 day park tickets.

The same from everything I have seen. The bounceback we were offered was free dining. But then it came out for the gp, so go figure. It was the only time free dining was offered during bounceback and then poof it was gone, and room discounts have followed ever since. 20% and 30% off I believe, not sure what else. The only difference I remember were the dates for our offer. The bounceback dates went through 9/29 and gp went through 9/22.
