But if anyone has a spare moment, and can give a good thought or prayer, I would appreciate it.

My friend who sits next to me in work was sobbing her eyes out this morning after a phone call. Long story short, her husband's best friend passed away suddenly this morning.

He was a fine man who had been taking care of his ill wife. She has bone cancer and he has been taking her for some grueling chemo and doctor appointments. He was only 50 and had a massive heart attack. Their only child, a son, is entering his senior year of high school next week.

This hit a nerve, since there were similarities to when I lost my dear late husband in 2000. Our DD was only a week into her senior year, and he was 50 with a massive heart attack, too.

So if you can, please keep Tony and Gail in your prayers. Thanks everyone.

Carol , my prayers go out to them , my daughter was diagnosed with bone cancer last year and not only I saw the effects of the grueling treatment on the patient but I also felt the effects on the caregiver. My prayers go out to the family.

In my thoughts and in my prayers.

I know that one day it will happen, the Lord is going to take my DH. Just the thought brings tears to my eyes and a lump to my throat. It is more than losing family or a friend (which are bad enough!)...it is the thought of losing that huge part of myself...my partner...my best friend...the love of my life.

I pray that the Lord fills you, your friend, the widowed wife and the family with a peace that is beyond all understanding, and a calm strength to stand in faith... when your knees want to hit the floor. In those times of fear and anger, I pray that instead of "Why,Lord?" you may shout "Blessed be HIS name."

Sending you a HUGE bear hug!!!!!
