We are currently have a courtsey hold on 3, Cat 10, Level 1 rooms for March 2009 on Disney Magic. Has any had a level one room? Is it noisy from the engines below? Do they have portholes? Are my concerns about noise and employee traffic on level 1 unjust? All thoughts and opinons about a level one room would be greately appreciacted! pirate: princess:

We have stayed on different decks, but deck 1 is our favorite. My husband gets sea sick and he does good on Deck 1 because you don't feel the sway as much. Also, there aren't many rooms down there, so there isn't alot of traffic. We were in room 1071 and we didn't hear any noise from the Staff or from the engines. If you're in a Cat 10, it does not have a porthole, those are inside rooms. I believe they have Cat 9's on Deck 1 and they have the porthole. We loved our Cat 10 Deck 1 room so much we will be spending 15 nights their in just a few days!! :yay:

You can check out some stateroom reports here:
The rooms you have on hold may be reviewed.
A quick answer to one of your questions; CAT 10 rooms are deluxe inside staterooms so no portholes.
