HM: The bride's ring?? Gone?!

On our last trip to Disney World, my DH's FIRST trip, we asked a (kind of rude/maybe it was his character??) cast member outside of the HM about the bride's ring. I originally heard about it through hear-say, but recently, reading through the "Disney secrets" page, (http://www.wdwinfo.com/best-kept-secrets_MK.htm) I see another mention of it. When we asked the cast member, however, he said that it was removed from the cement because the Imagineers didn't like it being part of the story. :confused: BUT: Recently, the bride got so much bigger in the ride & more emphasis was put on her, so it seems the story just might be true? HELP HELP!! We would like to see it, or at least know if it still exists!!

I don't know why it was paved over, but it's been paved over. It wasn't really a ring anyway.

It was an imprint from a pole that was moved. We learned all about it on our KTTK tour. Basically, they didn't want it included in the story because it was never supposed to be anyways.

I DID hear that it was originally part of a post or something that was either broken off, or moved. Thanks for the picture, though. It is still a neat story. :):)
