Is it just me for is everyone getting outragous prices for the summer. 2 weeks with entertainment card & coupons 900.00? This is the worst ever!:(

Yes, it is pretty bad this summer! My only suggestion is to try Dollar with code FVG (available to anyone, it is from the Florida Vacation Guide, don't have to show anything to get the rate).

I used that code and got it down to 550 for the 2 weeks / 5 day rate. Now I have never rented from dollar. Any info is appreciated. Do they hard sell the insurance (I hate that), long, slow lines?, any unforseen problems? I've never driven a dodge product that could be interesting. Thanks!:)

Just for fun, I tried July 7-21 with National Emerald Aisle, Full Sized, with Disney Club card:
$458 for two weeks (includes fees)
Good luck!

I tried yesterday after reading your post & got 748.00 for my 18 day rental. Think I will keep what I got so far.

Unless you booked your car rental a while back, you are going to see very steep prices for this summer. We booked back in January thru National, and we are paying about $162 for a full size for 8 days. This is with the EA, DC discount, and Entertainment coupon of $15 off, the week of July 4th.
I keep checking to see if maybe the rates have gone down, but no luck! Last year I booked our rental in September for the following July, and it was a few dollars cheaper than this year.
Good luck! :) Hope you are able to come up with a good rate! If you have the Entertainment Book, look through the coupons, and see if any of them help you out!!:)
