I see the GP codes have come out and congrats to all who could use them. What's the consensus on the DV code?

It doesn't matter about having a Visa it seems. They announce the General Public code instead. I know-- it doesn't make sense. :confused3 It is one of the benefits of having the Disney Visa (besides reward points)

According to a CM that someone else talked to on another thread the DV code will be out later today and will include more rooms.

Oh, well that would be nice. But nothing like making people sweat it out huh?

Do you think the rate for DV will be the same as the general code?

The DV code is for a package too, isn't it? That's how it was last year. I'd love it if it was a room only code though!

I'd like to know this as well. Anyone know how it's been in the past? Same rate or better for DV?

I just posted an answer to this question on another thread, but I'll put it here too.

I can't think of a single example where the Disney Visa code was better than the general public code. The discounts and room availability have always been identical. The only benefit of the Disney Visa codes has been that DV cardholders got a 3-day jump on the general public. Since that didn't happen this time, I'd say it's highly unlikely any DV code that might appear will do you any good, sorry.
