Our family will be cruising this October on the Wonder and the last time we cruised, August of 2000, we were told that "DIS" members should wear lime green ribbons on their person so other "DIS" members could recognize them. My DW wore one and I kept one tied to my camera bag but no one noticed. We were "Wonder"ing, is this practice still used?

Thanks,
Coach

for instance we went in January, and some of the folks on the board decided that we should use purple instead of lime green, and that worked well. It also depends on how many days...For instance, you only have three days, and stops, so you might not run into as many people as you do with sea days.

As far as I know the color for DISers is lime green. I wore one this winter when I went to WDW for three days and no one approached me. I also did not notice anyone else with the lime green ribbon (but I must say, I wasn't on a constant look out for them.)

Lime green is still the DIS color. On the May 12 Wonder we plan a little DIS meet. I plan to have a lime green ribbon on my camera bag. If people don't have a ribbon that color, sometimes they substitute something else that's lime green. I think it works because it's not a color everyone wears. But perhaps sometimes people just like to keep to themselves and not advertise that they're a DISer. I don't know.

Thanks for your replys. We will be wearing and watching for lime green ribbons when we cruise October 17...
