Best resort for adults?

What resort do you think is the best resort for adult travelers and DINKs for the moderate level resorts?

We are going in December 2009 and I believe we have decided on Coronado Springs.

I hesitate to vote since I've only been to one of them. We stayed at CSR back in 2004 and really liked it.

I agree with pp. I hesitate to vote because I've only stayed at POR. However, I have done alot of resort hopping so that i could pick which one I wanted to stay at for a return visit and POR is still my favorite of the Mods. It's such a personal choice though, and all of them are really wonderful, despite petty complaints that you read on the DIS.

POR has live entertainment at night.

so for adult it wins.

POFQ is the smallest - so for more senior citizens it wins.

Of those listed, I've only stayed at POR & almost at POFQ (they moved us to POR, but we swam there) All Disney pools are geared for kids, but I found the whimsical dragon style of POFQ seemed to draw more little ones. Please understand, I love kids, but 25 screaming (mostly happy) 2-6 yos was not my idea of a relaxing Adult atmosphere. POR's Old Man island seemed much quieter and even the hot tub felt secluded.

That, plus the night entertainment, I vote POR.

POR/POFQ/CSR and completely skip CB

I have to say.... I am surprised at the Port Orleans French Quarter being in the lead...:confused:

I have to admit, I have never been there nor even strolled the grounds...

I've visited POFQ and agree with the pp about the kids. I happen to love kids which is one of the reasons I love WDW so much. However, there are times that I need that break and love going back to the quiet resort. I didn't find POFQ to be all that quiet... Also, I love how shady POR tends to be.

I'm just a HUGE Coronado Springs fan, so I'll always vote for CSR!! It's so romantic!!

I voted for POFQ because it is so romantic. I love the theming. And it was so quiet and peaceful when we were there in May 2006. And POR is sooo close - when my ex and I stayed at POFQ, we would often stroll to POR to check out the nighttime entertainment or restaurant.
