CBR Room suggestions?

Our next trip is in a few weeks - at the CBR. Is there any special area we should request and can you still do that and what is the best way? I have looked at the map and see that there are a couple of areas near the food court and main pool - is one better than the others? and are any of the buildings any better or redone?

I welcome any suggestions.

The closest to the food court and main pool are Martinique (usually the first bus stop) and Trinidad North. I think Jamaica is across the foot bridge.

I adore the CBR. I stayed there twice over the Christmas/New Year's holidays (my first CBR stays). There is an internal-resort bus that runs rather frequently, so if you find the hike to the food court & main pool area too much, just hop on the internal-resort bus. I had a lot of fun on that bus -- the bus driver was having a "Disney Trivia" contest and I won (he flashed the lights for my correct answer, it was a hoot).

We've always requested, and have gotten Martinique #24. It's right next to the quiet pool and a two minute walk to the food court and main pool, as well as right next to the bus stop.

We stayed in Jamaica 46. We had about a 5 minute walk to the food court. We had to walk over Parrot Cay but we enjoyed it quite a bit. If you have kids, they will like the island. There is a kids play area on it and have piped in music of the Caribbean. Loved it.

I personally like Martinique building #25 because it's close to Old Port Royale (food court, main pool, shops, etc), and because none of the rooms have a view of the parking lot, AND it's close to the Martinique bus stop and the Martinique quiet pool.

I also recommend these other buildings because they are convenient, as well:
