I am back

and I bet you didn't even miss me ..........

Went to the doctors on Monday morning and ended up being admitted to hospital for a couple of days - they thought at first it was the old appendix but ended up a cyst:scared:

Escaped today and they want to see me in 6 weeks.

DH took my ipod into hospital so listening to old podcasts kept me going when I couldn't sleep :thumbsup2

It is good to be back - I did ask if the hospital had wi-fi but I dont think she even knew what it was ;)

did they operate on you? sometimes they can't figure out if it's the appendix or not, and operate anyway, 'just to be safe'....

No - I was prodded and poked and scanned and examined then examined again until they agreed it was a cyst and not appendix:)

Hope you are feeling better! Last summer I had horrible pains from what I thought was a cyst... it turns out it was a severe case of appendicitis :sick: Its a good thing you had it checked out because you never know.

poor thing....but at least she didn't need the appendix for anything...

They couldnt find my sense of humour in hospital (something to do with keeping me nil by mouth for 30 hours) - just as well though they might have removed it ;)

The trip report will get back on track soon ;)

Glad you're feeling better--that can be horrible pain.

Can somebody tell me why Europeans say "I was in hospital" but here in the US we say "I was in THE hospital". I've always wondered about that one!
