What should I be doing???

I don't really have anything planned yet except that we'll be going to MK on Monday so we can see Spectromagic.

Should I be planning, packing..what??

We are leaving in 30 days too! 9/12-9/19.

I have started laying out stuff to pack (like suntan lotion, ponchos, first aid items, etc.). Can't really do the clothes until the last minute since we wear most of them!

You can look at maps of each park and map out what rides and attractions you want to see too!

Do you have a character meal booked? If you want any reservation for table service restaurants you need to look into that before going. We always have to book ahead because there are 7 of us going ... we actually tried to go to Sci-Fi 2 years ago without a reservation and couldn't get in.
I usually start picking things up ahead of time but usually don't do my packing until last minute ... I've just started laying things out and we leave in 2 days!

Hey, I'm clueless about how to find out what parades and shows are WHEN. I've checked the Disney website and that Steve ? site (says he has no CM to supply info any longer).

Sooooo, can you please tell me where to find that info since you seem to know when certain parades are?

Thanks!!!!

click on the individual park names at the top of the page. He does have updated schedules. I was making the same mistake until someone pointed this out to me.

One suggestion for all who are going soon, start walking to get your legs in condition. Use the shoes (pack two pair) that you plan to wear to make sure they work for longer walks.

Well, here is information on the DIS about parades and fireworks - just click on the parades/fireworks hyperlink for September:

http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/hours.htm

So Monday Sept 15th at MK - Share A Dream Come True 3:00pm, Spectromagic 8:00pm and Wishes Fireworks 9:00pm

Here is information on each park:

MK - http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/guides/magickingdom/mkindex.htm
Epcot - http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/guides/epcot/ep-overview.htm
HS - http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/guides/mgm/st-overview.htm
AK - http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/guides/animalkingdom/ak-overview.htm

I am also a little less than one month away and I am gathering my travel documents, making my packing lists, checking over what park what day, making a general touring plan with the rides/shows we want to hit, making sure I have my advanced dining reservations and getting excited!

Enjoy your trip!

the Disney site does have big events listed such as parades and fireworks. Go to the calendar and click on number for the dates you will be there.

http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/calendar/parkhours/calendarHome?id=MKCalendarParkHoursMonthlyViewPage&date=20080901

Or DIS has the times listed

http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/hours.htm

Steve Soares site is the best source for detailed information like show times, but that information is only available about a week ahead.

I would be going through and making sure I have the little things I need. If not, you still have time to go and pick them up. I've heard that Disney is really expensive when it comes to Tylenol, batteries, etc.

Medicines, batteries, coins for the penny press machines, moleskin, finger nail clippers, ponchos, etc. :thumbsup2
