All paperwork finished - what next?

We're purchasing BCV points - YAY!

We've signed & returned all our paperwork. We didn't do Disney financing - got a home equity loan - and DVD just received our check so we're paid in full. I wonder if they'll send a receipt....

What happens next? Will we get anything else from DVD?

I've already received my "welcome" gift and have the Member Handbook. I suppose the only thing left will be our formal DVC membership cards? Will they send them soon or do I have to wait until after the official closing around June 1st?

I suppose we'll be getting the dues statement in mid-June.....

From what I remember, you may get some more papers to sign, stuff you forgot to sign (we were really careful and still forgot 1 page). Then I believe a copy of the deed is returned to you with possibly some welcome gifts (tote bag, pens, some have gotten license plates). If you want to check that they have recorded your deed check this website http://www.comptroller.co.orange.fl.us/

Do a records search with your last name. We got our cards approx. 1 month after deed signing, I recall temporary cards included in the welcome package with the deed copy. Enjoy!!
