View Full Version : Any suggestions for a good standard WL room?
Hi. We are arriving at WL on 5/1 for our 10th anniversary. We got an excellent FL res rate for a standard room. I'm a little nervous since I read the standard room views leave a lot to be desired. We normally stay a AKL in a savannah view (the view there is everything!) I normally never make any special requests for a room and I am always happy with what I get since we just love being at Disney. We are staying at WL so we can be closer to MK with our sons. (Can't leave them home while we go to Disney even if it is our anniversary!) Any suggestions would be appreciated.

...be there Aug 1-4(July 26-31 at CBR) and we will be staying in standard rooms at WL too. I requested "lobby" rooms so that when you come out of your room, you can sit on one of the rockers that they have stategically placed in the above corridors and we can "people watch"!!! If you prefer being near the pool, request "pool area". As lsep stated, any room would be GREAT - you are in WDW!!!!!:bounce:
Should we just request a lobby room when we check in? Are any floors better than others?
Thanks again.

...try posting on the thread "NEW Wilderness Lodge FAQ!!!!" We are trying to start a FAQ thread devoted to the WL, and you would be surprised how many DIS'ers have posted already. You may find your answer there. (Also: great pics on a link provided by MKingdom):earsgirl:

The WL FAQ on Deb Wills' site (wdwig.com) offers some suggestions for good standard rooms.
