Hi Dave!
I'm taking my mom on three day cruise in October.
She's one if these people that needs ALL information
NOW!
Can you help me out? How do I know which menus
coincide with the three day cruise?
Is there a formal night, Captain's gala?
When ship is in Castaway Cay, she's not big on
BBQ's, and meds prevent her from being in sun too long.
Will they still be serving food on Ship?
I know this has all been covered time & time again. But I need
it all in one spot so I can print it up and give it to her.
Thanks as always for all the help!
Kathy

I'm not Dave, but I'll try to help. I've learned a lot from him!
I've never been on the 3-day trip, but I think the menus coincide with the restaurant you're eating in. You won't know your rotation until you check in, but you'll eat once each in Triton's, Animator's Palate, and Parrot Cay.
There is no formal night on the 3-day cruise, but dress is somewhat nicer for Triton's (jacket recommended for men).
The ship's services are still working while it is in port, including Castaway Cay. Your mom can have lunch at one of the restaurants (usually Parrot Cay) or at the buffet, or from room service. There are some umbrellas on Castaway Cay, but you have to get off the ship fairly early to get one of them. There are some tent-like cabanas near the adult beach which can be used for shade, too. I think you have to reserve them, but I'm not sure. They may be first-come, first-served.
Hope I've been somewhat helpful. Enjoy your trip!

Hi Tinkerkat....I will try to answer what I can......food is served on the ship while in any Port. I am not sure exactly which rest.'s are open but I know you can get food.
There is no formal night on the Wonder. Just get a little dressier for Triton's, Animator's.
check out Dave's website... www.dcltribute.com
I think he has menus posted...if not Barb may on her website

Hope this helps a bit until Dave can answer.

Tinkerkat -
from Barb or Dave's sites:
Go to the menu area
You select the type of cruise you'll be sailing on and then the corresponding menus for that itinerary will be displayed.
On the Castaway Cay day, food is served in the Parrot Cay restaurant on board. Some of the same food that's served on the Island is there, along with other foods.
That would be an excellent time for your Mother to take in a movie at the Buena Vista Theatre on deck 5. Hopefully, they'll have a movie scheduled that would interest her.
hope that helps
