BCV Makeover?

Hi DVCers, I was over on the resorts board and over the last few weeks the Disers have been talking about a make-over for the BC and the BCV. One Diser was back and had stayed in a newly renovated room at the BC. We are staying through CRO in Dec. and I was just curious to see if it is true about the BCV getting a facelift. Is it true? if yes and have they started? TIA:)

It is true. They are calling it a "soft rehab" meaning carpet, bedspreads and other "soft" goods. I don't believe they are replacing any furniture.

They already changed out the mattresses and sleeper sofas last year. We had new mattresses and sleepers sofas at BCV in Jun 07.
