transfers on an old t'shirt

I have some t-shirts that are older. They have been worn many times but are still in good condition. They have been washed before with fabric softener.

Could I still use them for transfers or would it come out better with a new shirt?:confused3

Sure you can use them. Before you iron on just wash and dry them once without any fabric softener/dryer sheets. :goodvibes
