Not a problem at all. You could enjoy the Village, or stow your bags and go to the Val D Europe one stop on the train for shopping or the Sealife Centre.

It's definatly free of charge. There really isn't enough there to warrent them having a charge for it either.

Lots of people walk through the village from their hotels for EMH so the actual village is accessible very early, but I'm not sure what time most of the shops and restaurants open.

The idea of the breakfast sounds really good.

They were open very early when I last went (2004). They seem to be open before the main rush to the parks in the hopes that people will buy on the way past. The morning and evening are the Village's main foot traffic times.

yeah i was just gonna ask about that. on the food guide site it says it is continental so is it just the same as you get in the hotel like a buffet?? has anyone done one of these before

they often have a few hot things as well. It depends on where you are staying. The breakfast quality is better than the Santa Fe, cheyenne, Sequoia Lodge, or Newport Bay. about equal to the Hotel New York and not quite the same as the Disneyland Hotel. Also, the characters come to your table (and now you mention it, I think the Disney stores are open a little earlier 7:30/8?)

I can't remember exact costs, but if you are staying in a disney hotel it is cheaper (about £12 if I recall?). Booking in advance is often best, but you can do this when you arrive if need be.

Indeed kids under 3 do eat free at buffets. Also, in any table service, if they still have a bottle, bring it with you. They will often fill it for free.

I think if this is the case we're going to have to book Cafe Mickey for brekkie too, what a fab idea !! We've never done Cafe Mickey before and I was tempted to go on an evening but it may be a great start to our last day.

We have done the character breakfast twice and loved it - there are 2 sittings (think its 8.00 and 9.00)

There is info about it in my trippie from Christmas 07 (day 2 I think) and Easter 07

The food was lovely - lots of hot scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon as well as all the other continental stuff, cakes, cereals etc etc.

As its a buffet it can get a bit chaotic with everyone moving round and characters etc but get there early at the start of your sitting and you will be able to get some food first before the characters start coming then stay as long as possible and you will fid some people disappear to get into the parks but the characters will still be about
