when i prebooked this for my husband and son, we were told that space was very limited, so it would be a good idea to book in advance. Also, i think there was an age limit - something like eight for kids. Also, it says you need to be sure to take a hat and sunscreen.

Now my guys never got to go on this, because they waited until the guys were at the dock to tell them there were engine problems that day, and needless to say they were very disappointed.

My husband, BIL, aunt and uncle went on this excursion in November. They had a blast and caught lots of fish. My husband is a huge bass fishing fan so he wasn't as impressed as the rest of them. But they said fun was had by all. BTW, my husband was the only one signed up before the cruise. The other 3 signed up after boarding the ship.

What types of fish do they catch and what do you do with them? Catch and release?
My hubby would LOVE this. I would skip it! Celebrate some alone-time!

I really couldn't tell you what they caught. Not able to ask any of them right now. I do know that they did not catch and release them. My husband made the comment that they were catching the boat operator's dinner. He brings all the fish with him. My aunt and uncle were disappointed that they wouldn't be able to have something they caught served to them at dinner on the ship.

Do you know if they had any drinks or snacks or if I should send something with them?

They did have cold drinks (coke, sprite, etc.) but I'm not sure that they had any snacks. My husband didn't remember seeing anything. BTW, he did tell me some of the types of fish that they caught. They caught triggerfish, porgy, grouper and my aunt caught one of those puffer fish. I'm not sure if those are the correct names or not. You would have to know my husband. He renames everything. (The remote control is the clicker, the connecting lane on a divided highway is a hooker, even my name is Lori Gene to him (it's not!) ) He did mention that he got a little seasick toward the end of the fishing trip. He had a headache which I think came from the wine tasting class he went to the night before.

The "Little house on the Prarie" was in Walnut Grove, near Mankato. I think it's Minnesota, but I'm not sure!

Ha, Ha, Lance! Everybody this is the BIL that went on the fishing trip. Why don't you elaborate on the trip for everyone? 4 weeks til our next cruise!
