My Mum and brother went away on their holidays this morning, and, as soon as they'd gone I came straight online literally to sit and look at menus (And drool) and plan the Disney trip in detail......

I feel sooooooo bubbling with excitement about going back to DLRP.... I feel all fizzy and ready to run round squeeing!!!!!

Anyone else got that Disney feeling today??

I've had that Disney feeling ever since I booked our October trip!

I've even got a holiday to Germany before DLRP but the countdown at home is for DLRP and not Germany :lmao:

I seem to spend my life looking at menu's etc trying to make sure that I know as much as possible as I want my little man's 1 trip to be amazing

My wife is exactly the same!! Everytime I say the words DLRP I see that galzed look come across her face as if to say 'Not again'

I,m pleased there are other people as excited as me. My dd's and dh don,t share my enthusiasm, when I complain to my dd's and ask why there not excited they say (we are but where just not as loopy as you about it).I put my dlrp dvd on this morning and played halloween parade while skipping round dd12 room with my witches hat on, dd12 opened her eyes turned over and muttered weird:rotfl: When we've gone out in the car over the holidays we,ve played Disney Eye Spy, dd's also seem to have that fixed glaze ,when we get in the car they ask warily what shall we play today.(do the need ask):rotfl2:

Yep I'm having major hyper planning burts LOL. I've been counting down from over 200 days... now 27 wooo :cool1:
I've just about finished writing my plans down- got my disney notebook here beside me. Got tips wrote down for meeting characters, where to eat, rides, things to look out for etc. Can't wait!! Where are you thinking of eating?

We are definately planning on going back to Cafe Mickey and the Rainforest Cafe, and Annettes. We also fancy the Silver Spur, and want to do at least one special/posh meal, but we haven't made a firm choice for that yet!

Sounds good!! I've often thought about the Silver Spur. We are going back to Cafe Mickey too- its a must! lol. Also its gonna be a very belated 21st birthday treat for me. We also want to go to Agrabah Cafe.
Other places I've wrote down about but arent decided yet are the Lucky Nugget Saloon and Rendez Vous des Stars.
I would quite like to go to Walt's but I'm not sure if it'll be open and also depends on the money too lol. I'm certainly on the look out for salads next time :laughing:

I adore the Rainforest. We weren't impressed with Planet Hollywood at all though. I would adore to try Walts, but I don't think it will happen this trip. Gives me another reason to go back!! :laughing:

LOL exactly!! Any reason is a perfectly good excuse to go back. :laughing: When we were at WDW when I was younger, we went to Planet Hollywood and non of us liked it at all. The food wasnt nice and was cold and there's a bit on the video of me just sitting there totally bored out of my mind so I decided to start pulling faces to amuse myself :rotfl: I obviously wasn't bothered about the memorablia around me. So we havent tried the one at DLP and probably wont.
Think I might make a start today or tomorrow on writing my list for what to pack and think about what clothes to take :banana:

I'm going to the Metro Centre on Thursday (Seeing The Dark Knight- FINALLY!!) so I might buy myself something to wear to DLRP!! (Any excuse for new clothes!)

I'm not really a panto person but hey when you have a child you have a excuse to go check these things out :rotfl: Plus by the time the show ends and we get home Kyra will fall asleep and i can start packing for our suprise trip which includes hopefuly staying in the DLH :rotfl:

The panto was in London last year and a friend went to see it, she said it was fab! Enjoy!

I might be seeing HSM on Ice as well, my friends friend works with the HSM people when they do stuff in the UK and gets free tickets to stuff like that so we are hoping she can get us some free tickets.

I'm trying to decide what bag to take with me lol. Last time i took my NBC messenger bag which i love but sometimes after a while it can hurt my shoulder, so i've been thinking about a backpack but im not sure if i'd feel as safe or if it would be too big. Hmmm decisions decisions.

Back pakcs are good choices. I got a disney princes one from the disney soter, The PE bag type style, and it fitted in everything I needed for a day great, and never hurt my shoulders or anything. :)

Yeah that entrance is fine. It's the one where Metroland was thats getting changed but the car park is still fine and you can get in still but just in another door around the side.

Trip reports are so much fun to read (and write). The only problem I have is I keep getting distracted, so it seems to take me forever to actually write it!

I started writing day 2 on Saturday night, so I guess I might finish it tonight, or more likely tomorrow... Small World is putting me to shame with her writing speed :rotfl2:

All this planning! I am going tomorrow & haven't packed a thing! I haven't even decided which bag will fit cabin baggage sizes - I am travelling with hand luggage only as we are only going to be there for 2 nights. DD1 (who is going with me) had a bad fall this morning, cut knees & elbows. Of course it happened when I was out at the supermarket & my mother didn't know what to do with her - she is not a good patient. Poor thing thought that she wouldn't be able to go to Disney! I am off to the attic now to see if she can still fit in the buggy because her legs are sore. How will I manage to push a buggy plus carry luggage? I only hope they will allow me to take it as I am not actually checking in any luggage.

On a brighter note, I am just off the phone & have booked Cafe Mickey for tomorrow night & the Princess lunch for Wednesday. I was worried that I had left it too late, but there was no problem.

I am usually very good at planning, but haven't really had much time between being away (only staying in a caravan) & visitors & DH working all the time. Plus I know that the crowds will be big so I don't think we'll get much done. I mostly want to see the shows HSM 1&2, Tarzan, Lion King, Sleeping Beauty & the night parade & fireworks. We'll be back mid October for a week so we can do rides then.

Don't know what I am doing on here. DD2 will be up from her sleep in 45 mins & I have loads to do before then! Looks like I am in for a long night!

woohoo, maybe I might catch you back up by a day ;) I've been back a week now and written 1 day so far, so at this rate I'll be finished a month from today.

Having said that, I did also have a crocodile's trip report to write, which took a bit of time, because she got up to a lot of mischief :rotfl:
