Hello everyone. Our family is making its first trip to Disney World in January 2009! :yay: My wife went in February '83 as a child, but the kids and I have never been. We're staying a week at VWL. We're looking forward to it and enjoying the planning process - with lots of help from here - thanks everyone!

YEA! Going to Disneyworld is always so exciting. After making your reservations, one of the first things I do is to email Garden Grocer.com. I order bottled waters, soda, snacks, breakfast bars, etc. The prices are reasonable, and they charge $12 to deliver to your resort. You want to email them as soon as possible, since a lot of their delivery dates book up. We are going in September for the free DDP. Have Fun!

How does the delivery work with a resort? Should I schedule a delivery for the day i get down there or would the resort hold my order someplace if it arrived before I do?

We are veteran Dlander's but finally have a chance to go to WDW in January:yay: My son is in the 3V3 Soccer Championships, he's worked sooo hard:thumbsup2 , at the DWWS complex and we said, hey, might as well extend the stay and visit the World! We are enjoying the planning process and getting awesome info on the DIS. Thanks to all who post!

You going to have so much fun planning. It will be the best vacation you ever had, and you will keep going back for more magic in the years to come. Disney magic just does something unexplainable just makes you so happy, especially to see it in your children's eyes. :wizard:

Go to Garden Grocer.com. Order what you want and pay with your credit card. Pick a delivery date and time. I usually have the food delivered the day we are arriving, but you can choose any date. They will leave it at Bell services for you. You can also order frozen foods and Disney will keep it refrigerated for you. We have never been disappointed. Some dates fill up so you will want to order as soon as you can. Have fun.

Is there something like this that you can order beer and wine from? I'm guessing pricing for this in WDW would be very overpriced. We're going for the first time 1st week of Sept. but won't have a car.
